| Hello! Just wanted to tell you Amy finished her 1/2 marathon. Which is 13.1 miles. She ran it in 2hrs. 11min. 33sec.!!! She did great...had a good kick at the end! She's taking a nap right now. But after the race...we went on ahead and went to church....and out to lunch...but when we got home she said...man! I'm kinda tired....I'm going to take a nap....that was 2hrs ago...and we still haven't seen her!! It was very exciting....She ran with Katelyn's b-ball coach...he did good, too!.... thanks for all your prayers!! She said she's going to do the Turkey Trot before T-giving (10mile run)...any gobblers out there??? Her neurologist, who took care of her when she had encephelitis, ran in this 1/2 marathon, also. He was very glad she to see her...and most impressed!! ............................va |

| Hello! Just giving an update on Kirk. He was doing really well until last night. He was getting up from a chair and something happened. Now....he's in ALOT of pain. We are going to get x-rays this afternoon. Please pray for him!.......................va |

| Hi! Just wanted to let you know...that Kirk is ok!!! We were trimming trees in our front yard. Kirk was on our 8 ft ladder with his brand new chain saw that he got for Father's day!!!! AND! he was cutting a big thick branch and WHAM!!! he cut it all the way through and the branch came down and hit the ladder...the chain saw flew one direction....Kirk another...and sadly the ladder even another way!!! And down he went!! We ended up going by ambulance to the emergency room...because Kirk was a little confused. When we got him in the house...he didn't even remember that he was cutting trees down....he thought it was 2006....and he kept asking what happened over and over....so I decided with the help of my neighbor that it was time to take a trip to the hosp.....They released him and sent him home...he didn't even have to have an xray....Amy did lay hands on him and pray for him before the ambulance arrived...that was really great! He will be fine...but I'm sure he will be really sore!!!
PS: chain saw is ok....ladder looks somewhat like a pretzel!! MAN! We didn't get any pics!!

|  Ok...I am having so much fun now that I know how to download pics without Katelyn's help. I think she needs to get counseling about the horned worm!!! Here's some pics of her....do you think she knew the camera was on her??? Obviously there was no horned worm chasing her in this pic!!! hee hee!!!   Ohhhh, now that's a good one!!! LOL!

|  Hello! My family ran in the River Run this past weekend. It was so much fun! It was good having Drew home...we were sad because Jen had to work and could't be with us. We got together at Shawn and Mindy's afterwards for a fun and yummy bar-b-q. The first one of the year. It was so good! Here are some pictures! I told Katelyn to just pretend she was getting chased by a horned worm and she would probably win the race!!! She always appreciates my encouragement!!
